Ben Platt releases new album ‘Reverie,’ will launch tour in February
Ben Platt is again with new music.
The 27-year-old singer and actor launched his second studio album, Reverie, on Friday.
Reverie options the singles “Think about” and “Glad to Be Unhappy,” together with 11 different songs. The album is Platt’s first since his debut album, Sing to Me As a substitute, launched in March 2019.
“Reverie is right here,” Platt mentioned on Instagram. “I am so pleased with this album and I like it deeply. I hope you’ll too xx.”
Platt carried out “Think about” throughout Friday’s episode of As we speak and confirmed plans for a 2022 tour.
“I get to go on tour from February to April of subsequent 12 months. I am so excited to carry out reside once more, lastly; it is my favourite factor to do on the planet,” he mentioned. “I could not be extra thrilled or excited.”
Platt will kick off his tour Feb. 23, 2022, in Orlando, Fla., and produce it to a detailed April 8 in Los Angeles. Jake Wesley Rogers will open for Platt on tour.
Platt is thought for the Broadway musicals The Ebook of Mormon and Expensive Evan Hansen. He’ll reprise Evan Hansen in a movie adaptation that opens in theaters Sept. 24.
